The Palladium & Carter Green
1 Center Green · park at Center Parking Garage, 4 Carter Green
Blue hour 6:36 → sunrise 7:05 → golden light until 7:40
Moments
  • Empty plaza in blue hour, the building lit from within before the sky catches up
  • First light striking the limestone colonnade on the east face, shot from the northeast
  • One runner crossing Carter Green while the city is still asleep
  • The jazz band sculpture group at the Palladium corner, her run passing through it
  • Wide establishing pull as the first cars turn onto City Center Drive
Frames
Storyboard sketch: The lone runner crossing Carter Green at sunrise
The lone runner crossing Carter Green at sunrise Single woman, run look · Brielle
Lone female runner in athletic wear crossing an empty civic green at blue hour, grand limestone concert hall glowing from within behind her, first orange light striking the east colonnade. Hand-drawn storyboard sketch, loose confident pencil linework, warm sepia and amber wash, soft golden cinematic light, minimal background detail, square 1:1 frame — match the Icon on Main storyboard style.
Storyboard sketch: The jazz band statues at the Palladium corner
Her run past the jazz band statues at the Palladium corner Single woman + sculpture group · Brielle
Life-size jazz band sculpture group on a low plinth at the concert hall corner — seated drummer, trumpet and trombone players, upright bass, pianist at an upright piano — young woman jogging past in athletic wear, first orange light raking the limestone. Hand-drawn storyboard sketch, loose confident pencil linework, warm sepia and amber wash, soft golden cinematic light, minimal background detail, square 1:1 frame — match the Icon on Main storyboard style.
The east face is the money shot and it only works in this window. Everything on the ground here goes flat by 8:30.
MOVE

Crossover 1 of 3Suzanne & Dion’s morning coffee at a trailside table — Brielle runs past, Dion raises his cup.
Pedestrian tunnel and trail crossing, just east of the Palladium
Low east sun raking straight down the trail
Moments
  • The Monon runs true north to south, so the low sun rakes across it and every cyclist gets a rim light
  • Rim-lit run pass — Brielle south down the straight stretch, low sun raking across her
  • Dog walkers, the pet water fountain, leash and paws detail
  • The Carmel High School painted tunnel mural, silhouette walking through into light
  • Locked-off long lens down the trail, compression, layers of people

Midtown Plaza & Monon Boulevard

Clean morning sun, plaza still shaded on the west side
Moments
  • Spray plaza opens at 9:00 AM, kids running through it is the single best "this is what living here feels like" shot on the whole trail
  • Ping pong, bocce, cornhole, all free and all public
  • Coffee at a community table, laptop open, someone working outdoors
  • Hotel Carmichael facade and the shade structures with seasonal umbrellas
  • Public art installations and the big screen, wide plaza establishing shot
  • Trail threading between buildings — saved for the dedicated 3:00 drone block

Spray plaza runs 9 AM to 8 PM through Sept 30, so it is live both days. Worth having a family on standby here rather than hoping.
LUNCH
11:15 AM – 12:00 PM · catered at Midtown Plaza — pulled forward so the noon coffee window lands clean. Card offload and battery swap run through it; Prufrock staging takes the last 15 minutes, a two-minute walk across the plaza.

Per your note, details over the shop itself. Noon at a coffee shop is peak — confirm with Prufrock how the 12:00 window runs on a Monday. A rush looks better; a lull is easier to control.

Solar noon is 1:46 PM. This is the only place to be.
Moments
  • Dappled light through the tree tunnel, the trail at its most green
  • Suzanne & Dion riding side by side, dappled light moving across them
  • Slow push alongside the ride — spokes, pedals, backlit leaves
  • Neighborhood connector paths spilling onto the trail from backyards, the "my street opens onto this" beat
  • Slow motion detail: bike spokes, leaves moving, light flicker on the path

Hand-drawn storyboard sketch, loose confident pencil linework, warm sepia and amber wash, soft golden cinematic light, minimal background detail, square 1:1 frame — match the Icon on Main storyboard style.
This block sits in the harshest open light of the afternoon, and the canopy is the one place that light is usable. It also happens to be the prettiest mile of the greenway.

Dedicated drone block · the Monon corridor
Launch points along the trail, Midtown north to the canopy
Talent released — wardrobe change to the evening looks rides inside this window.
Moments
  • Canopy top-down — the tree tunnel as a green ribbon with the trail threading through
  • Trail threading between the Midtown buildings, the shot the plaza block couldn’t hold
  • Main St crossing overhead, cyclists and walkers flowing both directions
  • Water tower orbit with the Carmel lettering
  • Rise-and-reveal toward the rooftop to tease the evening block
Replaces the old afternoon coffee slot — Prufrock now shoots at noon. Parks and the City both need drone notice; keep a spotter on the trail and stay clear of the spray plaza while kids are in it.

This is your ice cream location. The sidewalk window is the whole beat — order from the street, no interior needed, and it is a one-minute walk off the trail at Main, so it still closes the Monon story without a real move.

Talent & wardrobe

Three principals carry the “this is what living here looks like” thread across the day: a young professional, and an empty-nester couple. Principals are booked — Brielle as the single woman, Suzanne & Dion as the couple. The 30-minute transition windows double as wardrobe changes, with the van as the changing base and both looks steamed and ready.

Wardrobe guidance across all looks: no logos, no pure white, no fine stripes or tight patterns. Earth tones and muted color sit best against the limestone, brick, and greenway palette. Each actor brings both options per look for approval on the day.

Storyboard · the :60 spot

Eleven boarded frames from the Icon on Main deck, in narrative order — the voiceover runs through them and lands on “Only one is iconic.” Frames tagged with a stop number are shot on the Monday plan; the remaining beats further down the page were generated in this same sepia-sketch style with Higgsfield, so the videographer has a visual for every beat before a single card rolls. The through-line for the longer cut: we follow both their days from sunrise to nightcap, and their paths cross exactly three times — coffee, custard, and the balcony toast — flagged as crossover banners on the stops above. Tap any frame to view it large.
